Randy Weber

Randy Weber is a Republican politician and businessman who has represented Texas's 14th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2013. A third-generation Texan, Weber was born in Pearland and attended Alvin Community College before earning a Bachelor of Science in public affairs from the University of Houston–Clear Lake in 1977. Before entering federal politics, he built a career as a small business owner, founding Weber’s Air & Heat in 1981, a company he operated for over 30 years. Weber’s political career began at the local level, where he served six years on the Pearland City Council. He later transitioned to state-level service, representing the 29th district in the Texas House of Representatives from 2009 to 2013. During his tenure in the Texas legislature, he served as the Vice Chair of the Border and Intergovernmental Affairs Committee and focused on issues such as human trafficking and environmental regulation. He was first elected to Congress in 2012, succeeding Ron Paul. In the U.S. House, Weber has established himself as a prominent conservative voice, frequently ranked among the most conservative members of Congress. He serves on the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, where he has chaired the Subcommittee on Energy. Throughout his congressional career, Weber has focused on legislative efforts to expand domestic energy production, strengthen border security, and reduce federal spending.

Randy Weber maintains a staunchly conservative platform centered on border security, energy independence, and fiscal restraint. He is a vocal advocate for strict immigration enforcement, supporting the construction of a southern border wall, the end of 'catch and release' policies, and the removal of federal financial assistance for entities that facilitate illegal immigration. On energy policy, Weber promotes 'all-of-the-above' energy strategies, specifically advocating for the expansion of domestic oil, gas, and nuclear energy production while opposing federal regulations he views as burdensome to the industry. Fiscally, Weber supports significant tax cuts, such as the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, and frequently votes for legislation aimed at reducing the national debt and curbing government spending. On social and educational issues, he identifies as pro-life and has championed parental rights in education, including support for the 'Parents Bill of Rights Act.' In foreign policy, he is a firm supporter of military aid for Israel and advocates for a hardline stance toward the Chinese Government to protect American intellectual property and farmland.
