Glenn Grothman

Glenn Grothman is a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Wisconsin's 6th Congressional District. Born in Milwaukee and raised in Thiensville, he earned both his Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and his Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Before his career in public service, Grothman was a practicing attorney specializing in estate planning, probate, and tax preparation. Grothman served in the Wisconsin State Assembly from 1993 to 2005 and later in the Wisconsin State Senate from 2005 to 2015, where he held the role of Assistant Majority Leader. He was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2014. In Congress, he serves on the Committee on Oversight and Accountability, where he chairs the Subcommittee on National Security, the Border, and Foreign Affairs, as well as the Committees on Education and the Workforce, the Budget, and the Judiciary. His legislative work often focuses on fiscal oversight, welfare reform, and support for the manufacturing sector.

Grothman's policy positions are rooted in fiscal conservatism and traditional conservative values. He advocates for reducing federal spending, lowering taxes, and implementing welfare reform to address the national debt.
