Max Miller

Max Miller is a Republican U.S. Representative representing Ohio's 7th Congressional District. Born and raised in Shaker Heights, Ohio, he graduated from Shaker Heights High School in 2007. He attended the University of Arizona before transferring to Cleveland State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in history in 2013. Following his graduation, Miller served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve from 2013 to 2019, reaching the rank of corporal. Miller's political career began as a staffer for Senator Marco Rubio's 2016 presidential campaign before he joined Donald Trump's 2016 campaign. During the first Trump administration, he held several key positions, including confidential assistant at the Department of the Treasury, lead advance representative for the White House, and eventually special assistant and deputy assistant to the president. He also served as a deputy campaign manager for the 2020 Trump reelection campaign. Miller was first elected to Congress in 2022 to represent Ohio's 7th District, assuming office on January 3, 2023. In the House, he has served on the Committee on Ways and Means and the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology. He was re-elected for a second term in 2024. Outside of his legislative duties, Miller is the grandson of the late real estate developer and philanthropist Samuel H. Miller.
