Sheri Biggs

Sheri Biggs is a Republican politician representing South Carolina's 3rd Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. She was elected in November 2024 and assumed office on January 3, 2025, succeeding retiring Representative Jeff Duncan. Biggs' background is rooted in healthcare and military service; she is a board-certified family and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with over 30 years of experience in the medical field. She has served as an intensive care unit nurse, a licensed nursing home administrator, and a health services consultant. In addition to her medical career, Biggs serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air National Guard. She has participated in combat and combat support missions as a medical crew director in hostile environments, notably during Operation Freedom’s Sentinel, and is a recipient of the Aerial Achievement Medal. Her educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministries from Carolina Bible College, a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Samford University, and professional military education at the Air War College.

Biggs identifies as a "pro-Trump Republican" and aligns with the "America First" agenda.
