Craig Goldman

Craig Goldman is a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Texas's 12th Congressional District. Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, he is a fifth-generation Texan who earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Texas at Austin in 1991. Before entering public service, Goldman worked in his family's real estate and gourmet food businesses and served as a staffer for several prominent political figures and organizations. Prior to his election to Congress, Goldman served in the Texas House of Representatives for twelve years, representing District 97 from 2013 to 2025. During his tenure in the state legislature, he held significant leadership positions, including Chairman of the House Republican Caucus and Chairman of the Energy Resources Committee. His legislative work in Texas often focused on property tax reductions and public safety measures, such as the passage of 'Molly Jane's Law' to improve law enforcement communication. Goldman was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in November 2024, succeeding retiring Representative Kay Granger, and assumed office in January 2025. In Congress, he serves on the House Energy and Commerce Committee. His national political career has been characterized by a focus on fiscal responsibility, domestic energy production, and support for international allies, particularly through his leadership role in the Abraham Accords Caucus.
